Mission: To create generational change for youth who face the toughest challenges, Friends-Boston utilizes professional mentors who work relentlessly with youth in their schools, homes, and communities, guiding them to develop their greatest potential and reach their goals for 12.5 years—from kindergarten through graduation no matter what.

Purpose of 2019-20 TPC Grant: Funding will be used to (1) expand their screening and selection process at two additional struggling Boston Public Schools in Dorchester/Roxbury and (2) prepare, outfit, and enhance their new program space.

Friends of the Children’s Wish List, with opportunities to be more involved with this TPC grantee, will be available soon.
