Renew Today and Register for Grant Awards Celebration

TPC’s mission to award yearly grants to exceptional nonprofits does not end with this year’s exciting Grant Awards celebration on June 8 (register today to join the general Zoom session or a neighborhood watch party of your choosing). The membership retention committee is already planning for the spring of 2023, and we are asking current members to renew now to take advantage of an opportunity to magnify your membership investment… 

We are happy to announce that a match of $25 will be donated to TPC for the first 150 members who renew or commit to renew their membership by July 1. That’s an extra $3,750.00 into the 2023 grant pool! Can we count on you to renew or commit to renew now? Simply, follow this link. Liaisons Needed!

We are seeking TPC members to serve as grantee liaisons to the 10 organizations selected for our 2022-23 grantee cohort. Many of our seasoned liaisons will carry on as volunteers, and we are looking for 10 new liaisons to join the group! (Each organization is assigned two liaisons, who work collaboratively.) If you are new to TPC, or looking for a way to deepen your engagement, this is a wonderful way to do so.

About the role: Grantee Liaisons play a key role in the grantee’s experience with TPC. As a liaison, you’ll serve as the grantee’s main point of contact at TPC and conduct periodic check-ins (virtual or in-person) and interviews with your grantee. Liaisons are responsible for three main things:

1. Work with grantees to help TPC go “beyond the check” by identifying and coordinating opportunities for members to volunteer time and talent or give in other ways.
2. Stay in touch with grantees and share stories and events with members (as, say, social media posts) as well as provide a feature article in TPC’s newsletter. For example, BEST Hospitality Training is featured this month.
3. Solicit feedback and insights from grantees to help us understand organizations’ needs and meet them when we are able.

Liaisons are also required to attend an initial training in June, attend group sessions with other liaisons throughout the year, and complete interim and final reports. As a liaison, you’ll be supported by a grantee engagement coordinator who will assist you in navigating your role and help in fulfilling, where possible, a grantee’s requests. Need more information?
