Empowering Youth, Fostering Resilience, and Supporting Community Growth in Greater Boston

CAMBRIDGE, MA – June 13, 2025, In response to ongoing community needs, The Philanthropy Connection (TPC), a Cambridge, MA-based women’s giving circle, has announced $240,000 in grants to ten organizations based in the Greater Boston area. These grants aim to fund nonprofit organizations that support underserved communities and address systemic inequities impacting individuals and families within the greater Boston area.

As a collective dedicated to fostering systemic change through strategic giving, TPC’s members chose grant recipients for their ability to address critical needs across Greater Boston. “By pooling our resources and focusing on collective impact, we aim to create meaningful and lasting change,” said Valerie Godhwani, Co-President of The Philanthropy Connection. “In these especially uncertain and tumultuous times, we remain even more committed to supporting organizations that uplift and strengthen our community,” added Godhwani.

Co-President Jenny Morrison further elaborated on TPC’s mission: “We believe in the power of collective giving and reaffirm our commitment to tackling systemic inequality and promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—not just in words, but in action. We stand by our grantees, who are doing this work every day.”

This year’s grantees reflect a broad commitment to supporting a diverse community and impactful initiatives across several areas of focus:
