Candace Burton, Program Officer for Safety Net Grants from The Boston Foundation will provide a regional overview and data insights, while Executive Directors from past TPC grantees, Boston Area Gleaners and Neighbors In Need, will share frontline perspectives on addressing hunger in our communities.

Jane Doe Inc. Advocacy Day

Monday March 16th |11:00 – 3:00 PM ET | Boston

Join Grantee Jane Doe Inc. (JDI), the MA Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, for their biennial Advocacy Day at the State House on March 16, 2026This event is sponsored by Senator Robyn Kennedy and brings together advocates, survivors, legislators, and community members to support vital legislation towards a safer, healthier, and freer Massachusetts. Hear about the importance of advocacy and meet directly with legislators to tell them why JDI’s legislative priorities are important to you!

In advance of Advocacy Day, JDI is hosting two prep sessions to educate people on how member programs are supported and impacted by JDI’s legislative work:

Boston Food Forest Coalition is hiring for several roles that span communications, construction, and on-the-ground stewardship. If you’re excited about their mission and believe you could contribute to this work, you can apply to pass along these roles to those in your network.

Senior Communications Manager – This is a full-time role responsible for creative communications as the chief storyteller to drive fundraising and brand visibility for BFFC. More info here

Senior Food Forest & Green Infrastructure Construction Manager – This is a full-time role that oversees the end-to-end construction of our 300 new food forests by 2030. More info here

Food Forest Maintenance Intern – This is a part-time, in-person internship from April to July 2026 and focuses on hands-on care and ecological maintenance of our food forests, including permaculture and management of our on-site systems. More info here.
