On June 9, the TPC community came together to celebrate one of our favorite traditions—awarding $250,000 in grants to ten outstanding Greater Boston nonprofits and recognizing the extraordinary impact they have in our communities.
Our 2026 grantees are addressing some of the region’s most pressing challenges, advancing immigrant and refugee justice, strengthening youth and families, and expanding pathways to recovery, stability, and economic mobility. Through their leadership, innovation, and dedication, these organizations are creating meaningful opportunities, fostering communities, and helping build a more just and inclusive Greater Boston.

Amirah, Inc. provides exit and aftercare opportunities to women exiting the commercial sex trade.
Boston CASA* represents children involved in abuse and neglect cases by training volunteers who help these children find safe, permanent homes.
Citizens for Juvenile Justice advocates for statewide systemic reform that achieves equitable youth justice.
Family Health Project* disrupts poverty and supports families’ healthy beginnings by providing first time moms living in deep poverty $400 per month for 36 months.
Mabel Center for Immigrant Justice* provides expert pro bono legal services to asylum-seeking families that have been separated, detained in family detention centers, and/or subjected to expedited removal proceedings.
Merrimack Valley Immigrant and Education Center is a multi-lingual community- based non-profit organization working for the growth and development of the entire immigrant community.
MissionSAFE works with youth, families and communities who face systemic obstacles to success, to gain the skills, resources, joy and confidence to thrive—not just survive—and to positively impact their community and the larger world.
Project Kompass assists young women (ages 18-24), new moms, and their babies through secure transitional housing, while also serving individuals and families through the Project Kompass Community Center (PKCC) with food access, essential items, community connections and support.
Second Chance Cars mobilizes workforce members in need to better compete for living-wage jobs through affordable car ownership.
Student Clinic for Immigrant Justice* trains college students to represent asylum seekers and advocate for a socially just immigration system.

TPC is Launching a New Program for Young Philanthropists!
Application Deadline: Monday, July 13th, 2026
The Philanthropy Connection is excited to announce its newest pathway for Young Philanthropists to gain opportunities for mentorship, exclusive channels for connection with fellow YPs and seasoned members, and skill development that drives progress toward their long-term professional success.
Aptly termed the “YP Accelerator Program,” this one-year program is designed for women who appreciate structured support while developing or expanding their careers. To learn more about how this program differs from TPC’s Fellowship program, check out this page here.

Join TPC’s 2026 7-Day Equity Challenge!
From July 13-19th, TPC invites you to participate in our 7-Day Equity Challenge— one of our most popular and highly rated educational offerings.
This self-guided learning experience helps members explore the evolving landscape of diversity, equity, and inclusion nationwide, with a focus on Massachusetts and the Greater Boston region. As policies, perspectives, and conversations continue to shift, this year’s Challenge offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding, strengthen your commitment to equity, and connect more closely with the values that guide TPC’s grantmaking.
While meaningful change takes time, this week-long learning journey provides a focused opportunity to reflect on your own experiences, learn more about our community, and better understand the systemic inequities that many TPC-funded nonprofits work to address. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are central to TPC’s mission, making this a valuable way to prepare for the next grant cycle.
How It Works:
Each morning, you’ll receive an email with that day’s topic. The email features curated materials to read, watch, or listen to—plus actionable steps to help you apply what you learn. Reflection prompts are for your personal use, supporting the long-term integration of equity-focused habits.
Returning participant? We encourage you to revisit and engage with the material in a fresh way.

SCIJ seeking Advisory Committee Members
SCIJ recently announced the members of its inaugural Advisory Committee, a group of community leaders and experts who will help guide and strengthen the organization’s work advancing immigrant justice. The committee’s first members are Leah Blaxter, Jonathan White, Molly Abrahamson, Anne Dugan, and Penny Weeks, who many TPC members know as a member of TPC’s Board of Directors and Co-Chair of our Education Committee.
SCIJ is currently seeking three additional Advisory Committee members with backgrounds in law, finance, or fundraising. Those interested in supporting SCIJ’s mission are encouraged to contact Executive Director Jonathan Goldman at jgoldman@scijimmigration.org for more information.
Crossroads Move for Amirah 5K

Lace up your running shoes and join Amirah for the inaugural Crossroads Move for Amirah 5K at Obear Park in Beverly.
Part of Amirah’s national Move for Amirah campaign, this event brings people together in support of women who have experienced trafficking and exploitation. Participants will run, walk, and move in solidarity with survivors while raising awareness and funds to support healing, recovery, and long-term stability.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or simply looking for a meaningful way to get involved, all are welcome to join this community event and help support Amirah’s mission to end exploitation and empower survivors.
Boston CASA Golf Outing

The Boston CASA Annual Golf Outing serves as an opportunity to increase awareness of the organization’s essential work while raising funds so more foster children and youth of Suffolk and Middlesex Counties have the support of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
Our Mission: Boston CASA promotes and protects the best interest of children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect. We train and support community-based volunteers who provide a voice to children in the court system so they may thrive in a stable environment.

Run with Team CfJJ at the Falmouth Road Race
Join Team CfJJ for the 2026 Falmouth Road Race, one of Massachusetts’ most iconic summer running events. Participants can choose to run the scenic 7-mile course in Falmouth on Sunday, August 16, or take part virtually by completing the distance on their own schedule and course.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, Team CfJJ welcomes participants of all experience levels. Every mile helps support CfJJ’s mission while connecting you with a community of supporters committed to making a difference.
